I had a great time being interviewed by the beautiful Amanda Jones with Fox 13 The Place for my memoir, A Seemingly Unfillable Heart; an Adoption Journey. Their staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable from the minute you walk in the door!

After the interview, and before I walked out of the newsroom, I saw Amanda reading my book and my heart exploded!

The quality of my work means a lot to me, not just the story, and from the beginning I wanted to be seen as a great writer! Seeing someone dive into the pages you have spilled your heart and soul into is the most rewarding experience. I feel very fortunate to be able to write and share my art with the world.

I am a one-man-band behind the scenes, marketing and promoting on my own. Besides hiring my editor, I have been the one writing press releases, making connections, promoting myself, formatting, publishing, and of course, writing on my own!

Having the support from my friends and family has gotten me this far, and I can’t thank you enough!! Thank you again to Fox 13 News and The Place for having me and giving this new author an opportunity.

A Poem A Day

I use to write A LOT of poetry, and somewhere along the way, I stopped consistently writing. On May 1st, I set a few goals for the last 30 days in my 30s. One of those goals was to write a poem {or script} every day, and so far, I have enjoyed the non-pressure of writing my own content. Writing just to write.
